Promotion
"Promotion positions the downtown or commercial district as the center of the community and hub of economic activity, while creating a positive image that showcases a community’s unique characteristics."
Promotion is where organization, economic vitality, and design all come together. You have the dedicated staff and partners, the shops, the restaurants, the beautiful streetscape... Then you need to get people, locals and tourists both, to the downtown. This means working with the Merchants, Tourism Bureau, City, and others to put on great events and advertise all of our attractions and businesses.
With Bikes & BBQ, the Mothman Festival, Battle Days, Christmas on Main, and so much more, there's always some reason for people to "Get to the Point!" Through our social media and the City's, in the River Cities Register, and on the radio, the news is out there: downtown Point Pleasant is hopping and ready to go.
